Independence Day, July 4, 2025 (pop by)
Happy Fourth of July! Prepare small gift bags with sparklers, a small American flag, and glow sticks. Attach a clever tag and include a couple of your business cards. Identify past clients and SOI connections nearby and drop them off during the last week of June.
Sample tag available from Etsy seller Systems and Solutions. Use code SPARK25 for a 25% discount.
Host a Client Appreciation BBQ (Event)
Organize a summer-themed client appreciation event to strengthen your relationships and show gratitude to your clients. Start by choosing a casual, fun venue like a local park, and plan activities such as a barbecue and simple lawn games. Send personalized invitations well in advance, and include branded giveaways to leave a lasting impression. This event celebrates your clients and builds loyalty, generating valuable referrals.
Sample invitation from Etsy Seller Nolasgoods.
Local Real Estate Market Trends (mail, email, social media)
Sharing local market trends with your database positions agents as knowledgeable and trusted real estate advisors. Whether you choose a brief email, personalized letter, or social media campaign, a quick update on recent sales activity, price changes, or inventory levels keeps your clients informed and engaged. This information helps homeowners and buyers make smarter decisions—whether they’re considering selling, buying, or simply curious about their neighborhood’s value. Regular, relevant communication like this demonstrates your expertise and keeps you top-of-mind for referrals and future business.
Sponsor “Back-to-School” Supplies Drive
Sponsor a Back-to-School activity, such as backpacks filled with school supplies or much-needed classroom items (ex., tissues, glue sticks, crayons, etc.).
- Identify a member of your power sphere who is a local schoolteacher. Or choose a local school that will benefit from your activity. Ask what type of supplies teachers most request.
- Promote your drive during July and early August so items are ready to be delivered at the beginning of the school year.
- Leverage your social media accounts to promote the activity. Be specific about what items are needed and when and where people can drop off items.
- Make sure to take pictures during the entire process to share on social media to get people engaged.
- Consider asking vendors you use to collaborate with you, such as a Title Company, Home Warranty, Inspector, Photographer, Home Stager, or Mortgage Representative. The greater your reach, the more successful the activity.
- It’s proven that people like to do business with businesses that give back to the community.
